As an American girl with an Irish name (which is pronounced, “EE-fa,” by the way), I had to know how to spell it for people by twenty-one months of age. Now I’m using my spelling skills for much more than my name (which says a lot, considering how often I’m asked about it) as I craft sci-fi and fantasy stories about overcoming struggle without losing joy. When I’m not writing, you can find me quoting Star Wars, getting way too invested in random facts from The Silmarillion, and searching for the perfect Loki GIF to send to the group chat.
